The KROMPAS & STEFANOPOULOU Dental Clinic (Dental Place) is modern and well-equipped, as required by the high-level dentistry that it serves. With more than 35 years of experience in providing specialized and general stomatognathic care, Nikos Krompas and Nota Stefanopoulou always work driven by their guiding principles: dedication to excellent quality, creation of a calm, friendly and comfortable environment for patients and continuous scientific improvement.
Our aim is to confront the problems of the stomatognathic system, through thorough examination, diagnosis, discussion over the patients' wishes, informing and flawless execution of dental treatments. For us, the human contact, the perfectly clean workplace and the implementation of the most stringent sterilization methods are of great importance. We use the most advanced biomaterials, science-based therapies and dental equipment to treat our patients with comfort, efficiency, safety and above all painlessly.
The KROMPAS & STEFANOPOULOU Dental Clinic (Dental Place) has developed and implemented a Quality Management System according to the international standard ISO 9001:2000. They are certified and are being inspected every year by the German national quality carrier DQS.
Dr. Nikos Krompas, D.D.S.
Nikos Krompas graduated from the Dental Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1983. He works as a dentist since 1994, focusing on surgical and prosthetic implantology, fixed prosthetics with all-ceramic crowns and bridges and cosmetic restoration with porcelain veneers.
Furthermore, he lectures regurarly at his institute in Kifisia and as an invited speaker at Greek and international meetings. He also engages in research on the maintenance of the peri-implant bone in various implant systems and immediate dental implant loading.
Dr. Krompas is especially interested in the elimination of pain and fear, as well as in the rapid —within 24-48 hours— prosthetic restoration of dental implants.
Dr. Nota Stefanopoulou, D.D.S.
Nota Stefanopoulou-Krompas graduated in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1983. She continued her studies at the Dental Faculty of the University of Athens and graduated in 1990. In our clinic, Dr. Stefanopoulou is responsible for all the root canal treatment. Her focus is the conservative cosmetic restoration of the whole mouth with composite resins (bonding), bleaching, veneers and porcelain and resin onlays. Dr. Stefanopoulou is primarily responsible for treating all pain emergencies. A key part of her practice interest focuses on the gentle and soft approach to fearful patients, adults and children. She participates in seminars and conferences in Greece and abroad, for her continuous training on subjects relating to bleaching, endodontic treatments and cosmetic restorations.
Dr. Ioanna Apostolidi
After graduating from the Athens School of Dentistry in 2006, Ioanna Apostolidi worked at the National and Kapodistrian University as a research associate in the laboratory and the Endodontics Clinic. Her experience in the overall rehabilitation of patients awakened in her the desire for further specialization in the field of Endodontics. Thus, in 2010 she pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Manchester, where she successfully completed her specialization. She worked in private clinics in Great Britain, exclusively in the field of Endodontics and the Restoration of Endodontically treated teeth, while since 2012 she has been working in Greece. She actively participates in conferences in Greece and abroad, as well as in the training of dentists for the application of modern techniques in the field of Endodontics and the use of the Surgical Microscope. She is a member of the General Dental Council (UK), the British Endodontic Society, the Hellenic Society of Endodontics and other companies in the field, for the promotion and development and scientific research. The immediate elimination of pain and fear of patients is a priority in her treatment protocol. The treatment is carried out using a surgical microscope and minimally invasive methods that offer accuracy and predictability while, in most cases, allowing the completion of endodontic treatment in a single session.
